Classic Sweet Pancakes

Ingredients
- All-purpose flour 1 cup
- Granulated sugar 2 tablespoons
- Baking powder 1.5 teaspoons
- Salt 0.5 teaspoon
- Milk 1 cup
- Large egg 1
- Unsalted butter, melted 2 tablespoons
How to Cook
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently with a whisk or fork until just combined. A few lumps are okay; do not overmix.
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle or large non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the hot griddle. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and bubbles form on the surface before flipping.
